I was watching direct TV satellite and started watching a marathon of “Project Runway”. I had never seen the show, but knew that it was popular. I also have always liked Heidi Klum. She is not your typical supermodel. I don’t know anything about sewing and fashion, but immediately found myself drawn into the show and didn’t stop watching. It was typical reality TV, including drama between those on the show. Although it was typical reality TV, it was different. I was impressed with the talent of the contestants. In a few short hours they were able to design, pattern, and sew entire outfits. I was amazed at how the yards of fabric turned into funky, wearable creations. Each contestant had a different style and came up with something entirely unique. I have never been a “right-brained” creative person. I am always drawn to those who are able to create art and think out of the box. I think that I am going to start watching “Project Runway” next season. Who knows, maybe I will get inspired and learn how to sew!
