I am very close to my grandparents and I spend a lot of time with them, over the years they have actually become like second parents to both my brother and I. For the past few weeks they have been talking about selling their home and moving South…perhaps to Florida but we all thought it was just “talk”.
However, this past weekend they sprung it on us that their house was going up onto the market today because they want to move to Hawaii! OMG…what a shocker it was for all of us! I can totally understand them wanting to get out of Pennsylvania because our winters totally stink and my grandparents have always hated the snow, ice and cold.
Grandmom told me that she found a really nice Oahu real estate agency who is going to help them find the perfect beach front 2-3 bedroom condo
so they are hoping to sell their home and get out of Pennsylvania by early December! Lucky them!
I know my brother and I are really going to miss having them around on a daily basis but it will be nice for us when we want to take vacations to Hawaii because we can shack up & stay with them instead of shelling out a lot of money at a resort! yeah!!!
So there you have it…my news for this week!
