Menaji Men’s Skin Care Line

October 14, 2011 by Classystaff

Menaji Men's Skin Care LineWith a teenage son and a hubby in the house, I am always looking for some type of specialty guy stuff. My son has normal skin that is a tad oily and my hubby has extremely dry skin. Because they are so different, I have a tough time finding good men’s skincare products for them to use in regular stores.

My guys had the opportunity to review some skincare products from a mens skincare line called Menaji. We were able to select 3 products for review so we got the Face and Body Scrub, the CAMO Concealer and the After Shave balm.

Face and Body Scrub for Men

My son has been breaking out on his forehead and back terribly of late so I had him start using the Face and Body Scrub for men and the Camo Concealer. The Scrub is a a healthy polishing scrub that exfoliates and deep cleanses removing dead skin cells for clean and clear skin. This advanced formula contains a natural green blend of Jojoba beads, Ginseng, Sea Kelp, Azulene, Certified Organic Lime Peel Oil and Aloe Vera. A 2-in-1 product that leaves skin moisturized, smooth, and healthy.

He has used this product now for 3 days and his blemishes are clearing quite well, but sadly we ran out as the tube popped in shipping. I would have been thrilled to know how it would work in the long run. Now this is not a blemish cleanser, but in teens, keeping their face clean really helps reduce the blemishes. Because this is a natural product, he is not getting any harsh chemicals on his face and I like that.

After getting dressed, he has been applying the CAMO concealer and he loves it! This is a jojoba-based skin tone concealing agent (the world’s first) is designed for use anytime. It is great for using on razor bumps, blemishes, under-eye circles, age spot, scars or any other imperfections. It is super easy to use, good for your skin, Dermatologist approved and, most importantly, undetectable. This CAMO covers the redness of his blemishes. It comes in 3 different color selections and blends in very nicely. It is hard to detect that he is wearing anything other than the bumps that are still there. Reducing the obviousness of the blemishes has really helped his confidence this week.

Son loves his new products and I know that we will continue to buy these for him. I love that they are a natural based product and that they are working for him!

Hubby was given the Moisturizing After Shave Hydrator to test out. This is a lightweight aftershave moisturizer that hydrates using both natural anti-oxidant botanicals and skin nutrients such as Chamomile, Vitamin E and Green Tea, with soothing organic Aloe Vera to soften and brighten dull skin. This naturally formulated hydrator with Hyaluronic Acid increases your skin’s moisture level to keep it healthy and hydrated minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Hubby has very dry skin and after scraping the whiskers off of his face, he can get really irritated skin. Using a balm type of aftershave really helps soothe his face. He really likes that the Menaji After Shave has additional moisturizers in it so that he can have some manly stuff to his face instead of trying my lotions or creams. He doesn’t like smelling like a girl. LOL

His face over the last few days has gotten a bit softer and quite not so dry. He has patches where his skin can flake off if not addressed daily and these areas have gotten a lot less flakey. He likes the mild citrus scent and so do I. I hate overpowering scents and this is very pleasant.

Overall, the guys are loving their new products. They have been using them daily and really are enjoying watching the results. I know that these products will be on our list of mens maintenance items for a long time to come!
