Shopping for Plus Size Clothing

I decided to take some time off work today and go out and do a little holiday shopping because I am on a mission to be completely done with my shopping before December 1st. Yes…I know I say that every year and I have never accomplished it but I am determined to do so this year.

I went out and hit about 5 stores today as I am looking some some plus size clothing for my sister-in-law. She has already told all of us to please purchase her clothing this year for Christmas because she just had a baby and will be going back to work right after the holidays and would love several new outfits for that.

After 4 hours I was pretty disgusted that I couldn’t find anything that was on her list in the size that I needed for her. Once I got back home I decided to jump online and I did a search and found several great online stores that had exactly what she wanted and in the size I need. Geesh, I should of just saved myself the trouble and shopped online in the first place.

I did manage to order her 2 new tops, 1 new cardigan sweater and a long below-the-knee length skirt. I was pretty happy about that because I got a great price on all 4 items and even managed to get free shipping to my front door!

I think I will just do the rest of my holiday shopping online as it is just so much easier, it’s a time saver and I don’t have to take my pajamas off to do it! LOL
