What I love about this company is how super easy it is to order personalized books for my grand daughter and they are shipped quickly to my front door. My Review: I received the “Santa” personalized children’s book to review for you and this book is available in both Caucasian and in Ethnic versions. The hardcover book measures 9″ tall by 6″ wide and contains 24 pages. The selling price is $12.95 which makes it super affordable.
Book Excerpt (from their site): After being awoken by a reindeer, your child is asked to fly to the North Pole to solve a big problem. Once arriving, Mrs. Claus offers some candies and treats and then gives a tour of the workshop. Then Santa explains that there is one important ingredient missing from every single gift in the shop…Love! Only your child can help put the love in the presents for all the children of the world.
The book is personalized throughout the entire book! Inside the front cover is the personalized dedication page which has my grand daughters name, the year I presented the book to her (2011) and it says with love from Nanny. One of the things I love about the book is that the story is on one page and the beautiful illustrations are on another. I love that there isn’t wording on both pages which can be distracting for a toddler or an early reader. I much prefer toddler books to be like this one! The illustrations are beautiful and I love the colors that were used throughout the book as they are easy colors on the eyes. There is nothing “loud” and “in your face” regarding the illustrations and colors. I hope I am making sense because I have books for the wee one that are so brightly colored that I get headaches reading them to her!
As you read the story it really draws you in because your child is part of the storyline and I think that is very important! I have read this book numerous times to the grand-wee-one since receiving it and we both love it! I find it to be a very enjoyable read and the story flows well from one page to the next. I love how her name is used throughout the book, the city & state that she lives in is also throughout the book along with Nanny & Pappy’s names! The book is hardcover, bound beautifully and is a high-quality book! We give the book 10 stars out of 10 stars and highly recommend this company and their products to you!
