My Review: Troy at Dublin Jerky was very generous to send us several packages of jerky to review. I will be breaking these down into smaller reviews and posting them over the next couple of weeks. This past Wednesday I hosted a party here at my home for my mother’s 65th Birthday and had over 20+ guests in attendance. I decided to serve some of this delicious jerky to my guests and get their feedback on it.
The Barbecue Beef Jerky has a sweet but yet beefy taste to it thanks to the molasses used in this recipe. This flavor was one of my personal favorites as I tend to like my jerky sweet with just a “hint” of kick to it and this jerky is exactly that! I hated sharing this one with our guests because most of the girls at the party also enjoyed this one.
The Original Beef Jerky is Dublin Jerky’s best selling jerky! They have been making this popular flavor since 1975…so that tells you that this jerky is top of the line! If you like the classic beef jerky flavor then this is the one you want to purchase. This one reminded us all of the jerky that my great grandfather used to make when we were kids. I have never tasted a jerky that was comparable or better than his…until now! My entire family raved and raved about this jerky!
The Double Smoke Original Beef Jerky is a lot like their original beef jerky but it has a lot more smoky taste to it with a hint of garlic. If you love smoky barbecue flavored meats…you will love this jerky! My brother who is a big griller who smokes a lot of the meats he grills went for this one right away and it was his personal favorite.
Overall Impression: My family absolutely LOVES the jerky from Dublin Jerky! To be 100% honest with you…it’s the best we have ever had! This jerky is moist, flavorful, juicy and absolutely delicious! This is not dry, dehydrated, scratch your throat type of jerky…this is quality jerky! We highly recommend this jerky company to you! If you love jerky…go purchase some from Dublin Jerky today!
