Today I get to introduce you to a really cool product for kids called Aroma Dough which is an all-natural modeling compound that you can feel good about giving to your kids. As a grandmother to a 29 month old little girl…I was really excited to review the Aroma Dough product for you.
Aroma Dough was invented in 1992 by two California Moms and is gluten-free. The Aroma Dough is scented with natural products like fruit, flowers and plants…so it has a nice fragrance to it. The product can be purchased directly from Aroma Dough or through Sam’s Club and Discovery Toys.
My Review: I received the Aroma Dough Fun Pack 1 that includes 4 gluten-free play dough or modeling compounds. We received the following colors: Cherry Cola Red, Lemon Yellow, Tutti Frutti Blue and Lollipop Lime Green. Each color is in a re-sealable plastic container. I laid a plastic tablecloth down onto my table and when the grand-wee-one arrived for her play date with Nanny and Pappy we got busy creating with the Aroma Dough. The first thing I want to say is…I also thought that the traditional play doughs stunk…the smell never appealed to me…however…I love the fragrance of the Aroma Dough!
The next thing I noticed was how soft and pliable the dough was. It is really easy to “shape” the dough into whatever design you are making. You can even stack or blend colors into one another which is what the wee one likes to do. I also appreciated that this dough did not stain up my table cloth nor our hands…which other dough’s can do! The grand-wee-one loves her new Aroma Dough and frankly…I pitched out 2 other brands because the Aroma Dough is a superior product compared to those.
We love the Aroma Dough and highly recommend it to you! This would make a fabulous holiday gift to any child on your holiday gift-giving list. The 4-pack that we received retails for $16.95 so it is super affordable! Matter of fact…our wee one wants more colors for the holidays and what the wee one wants, the wee one gets!
