Ageless with Kathy Smith: Total Body Turnaround Exercise DVD
This is the first total body workout video I’ve done in quite some time. I don’t know anyone that isn’t really busy and one of the first things to get lost from a busy schedule is your exercise. There are plenty of excuses to pull up and the biggest is “I don’t have time”. Well consider that no more.
The Ageless with Kathy Smith: Total Body Turnaround takes your excuse away. There are 3 different 20 minute workouts; total body, total balance and total energy. If you are low on time, then choose one. But for those great days you have a little more time you can easily do all 3 together and hit the ultimate full body workout.
You can not go wrong with a Kathy Smith workout. She has been in the fitness industry since the 80’s and has helped pioneer aerobic classes as we know them. Her instruction and demonstration of moves is impeccable. You will definitely be working out correctly so you have less chance of injury. Of course, you still need to make sure you have cleared your exercise space appropriately if you are like me 😉 Once I get going I can tend to forget my surroundings lol Thankfully these routines do not take a lot of room so even if I’m not paying attention I won’t run into things.
Ageless with Kathy Smith: Total Body Turnaround is a perfect exercise dvd to have in your collection. You can not go wrong with 20 minute workouts broken down into focused segments. I especially love that balance has it’s own section. I have taught a senior citizens fitness class since 2008. I work 3 times a week teaching many of them to get their balance back. Balance is huge as we age and losing it really destroys your confidence and causes seniors to limit their lives. Balance is such a strong aspect in my life and I love seeing this video put it as a top priority as well. While training fitness clients it was something I worked on with many because I did see my see that my seniors had better balance than some of the 20 year olds I was training.
I really like the video and highly recommend it. There are also bonus features of stretching, yoga and core so you can add a little more targeted training.
