Thomas and Friends – Day of the Diesels DVD Movie

This brand new dvd movie is being released on September 6th, 2011 and will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack, Digital Download and On Demand. The suggested retail price $19.98-$24.99. This animated movie is geared towards children ages 2-5 years of age and has an approximate running time of 58 minutes.

Synopsis: The Steamies & the Diesels face off in this action-packed movie adventure, Thomas & Friends: Day of the Diesels. There’s a fire on Sodor and two new firefighting engines, Flynn & Belle arrive to help Thomas & Percy save the day! When Thomas starts spending all of his time with Sodor’s newest heroes, Percy is drawn to the Dieselworks, where he is made to feel special by the master of mischief himself, Diesel 10! But Percy doesn’t know that he is part of Diesel 10’s master plan to take over the Steamworks. The Steam Team rallies for sure-fire excitement in this all-new movie from Thomas & Friends!

Review: I invited my grand-wee-one and my 2 yr. old nephew over to our home for an afternoon movie date so that we could watch the movie with them. This DVD movie introduces 4 new friends: Flynn, Belle, Den & Dart and the wee-one fell in love with “Belle” so we hope to see more of her in additional Thomas movies. The animated graphics, music and storyline are just fantastic…matter of fact, this might now be our favorite Thomas & Friends dvd! Since receiving this DVD the grand-wee-one has watched it many times and even though she is a little “girl” she loves the Thomas series just like little boys do!
