Today I have a really awesome product to introduce to you called the Rockboard Scooter which is for kids ages 8 and up and it will hold up to 200 lbs. so even light-weight adults can ride on this fabulous scooter! The original Rockboard Scooter comes in 4 fun colors: Pink, White, Orange and Blue and the scooter can reach speeds up to 10 mph. The patented Rockboard scooter comes already assembled so it is ready to use right out of the box! When not in use…you can fold it down for easy storage or if you are heading to the park or boardwalk…you can fold it down, pack it into the trunk and take it with you.
The Rockboard scooter is really two scooters in one! The frame is made out of durable, sturdy steel with a die cast aluminum deck. The wheels are made out of urethane with nylon spokes. Regarding the brakes, there is a front brake lever which operates the rear band brake. The handlebar adjusts from 36″ height to 46.5″ in height. The entire scooter weighs only 20.8 lbs.
Our Review: We were really excited to be reviewing this scooter since I have 3 nephews and a god son that are at my home on almost a weekly basis. When the boys are here I like to have fun things for them to play with and to do and this Rockboard Scooter is definitely that! Once the box arrived to our home my hubby opened it up and we were both surprised that it is indeed fully assembled! Seriously folks, it is ready to go right out of the box! My husband sat down to read the manual that comes with the scooter so that he knew how it operated so that he could teach the boys how to use it. (although I knew my hubby was dying to get on it too!).
We had to wait several days before we could try out the Rockboard Scooter because Pennsylvania has been getting flooded on a weekly basis for the past 8 weeks, ugh! Once we had some dry time outside we took the scooter out for a spin in the parking lot and wow…did those boys have a good time! Even my hubby and my future son-in-law had a blast riding around the parking lot on the new Rockboard Scooter! From the 10 year to the 50 year old…all of them found the Rockboard Scooter to be easy to use and fun to operate! There really was no “learning curve” at all…they got the hang of it within minutes and for a couple of hours they all took their turns cruising around on it. This scooter is fantastic and is extremely well-made! This is no dime-store plastic junk-made scooter…this is top-of-the-line quality! Overall Impression: Wow…this is one fun scooter! I would not hesitate to purchase this product for kids or young adults at all. It is extremely well-made of high-quality materials…the workmanship is just fantastic! This would make a fabulous gift…especially holiday gift for the upcoming holiday season. Can you imagine your child’s eyes when they get up on Christmas morning and there is a new Rockboard Scooter sitting under the tree? Oh my!!!
