I know that the summer is over for half of the hemisphere, but that has no affect on the need for cute beach clothes. For me personally, it’s time to think of where we can run off to this winter and enjoy sunshine and warm weather. Swim Kitten has graciously sent me this beach dress to review and it will work perfectly if I can runaway with my husband.
I heard a rumor (fingers crossed) that a trip to Mexico may be in my future so I’m excited for the possibilities with this cute, little dress. This beach dress is perfect to toss over your swimsuit and head out to dinner. Add a little jewelry and you could easily wear it into a nice restaurant. Works great as a swimsuit cover up or a regular dress.
The cut of the dress is very feminine. It’s meant to be a tighter fit, but it’s not just a straight tube hugging all the wrong places. It flows nicely with the curves that make us women. Extra cut in the bust and hips so the skirt will give a little flirty twirl. I love the straps/back tie. They are sewn at the shoulder blades so you don’t have to worry about them slipping and adjusting without your permission.
The fabric is incredibly silky and soft. It is a gorgeous color of red. I’d call it a dark cherry red. I know the picture shows kind of a coral color on my computer but it’s definitely red like the description. It is handwash only but with the polyester/spandex blend that’s to be expected.
A big extra? This product is handmade in USA! I’m not used to being able to say that about clothes and I love it! So use that as an excuse to go shopping. We have to support the economy you know. 😉
