Last night we had a family get-together to celebrate my sister’s 30th Birthday at my home and we all had a great time at the party. When the party was over by sister asked us all for our attention as she had a big announcement to make to the family. We were all curious on what this “big announcement” was so we all quickly took our seats and quieted down.
My sister proceeded to tell us that she was offered a nice high-paying job down in the Charleston area and that she had accepted the job offer! Wow…we weren’t expecting to hear that but we are all super excited for her. She also told us that the reason she was missing last week for a few days is that she snuck down to South Carolina to interview for the job and to check out the area. We didn’t even realize she was gone for 4 days!
While she was there she was checking into some Charleston Real Estate trying to decide if she wanted to purchase a new home or just rent. She told us that she found the perfect home right in Charleston and filled out the paperwork to purchase it. She then told us that it’s a quaint Southern style home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, dinning room, living room, family room, etc. and that it had nice sized front and back yards. Sounds like a very nice home!
Anyway, we were super surprised with her announcement and we all are very excited for her. I know next year we plan on taking a vacation down to Charleston, South Carolina and now we can get free room and board by staying with her when we are on vacation.
I am really looking forward to taking our spring vacation now because I have never been to Charleston and now I have a good reason to go down there. I heard that Charleston is really beautiful in the springtime so I am looking forward to visiting the area and see it for myself.
