Our beautiful 26 year old daughter informed us this week that she is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend and they have set a wedding date for next fall. Wow…I was speechless when she told us but I am very happy and excited for her. She showed me her new ring and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful her cheap engagement rings was! Her fiance did a great job at finding an affordable one that looks like a million bucks!
Now that she is engaged…I will be busy as a bee trying to help prepare and plan for a wedding that is a little less than one year away. We are going to sit down this weekend and make a long list of wedding supplies and things we will need to pull off a fantastic wedding for our daughter. Since receiving the news my mind has already been racing with a million and one ideas for her upcoming wedding.
She has told us that she would like the colors to be in dark purple, light purple and a dark emerald green. I think those 3 colors will look very nice together. She would like to have her wedding outdoors at a local floral garden center that is near our home and hopefully have it in the victorian gazebo that is on the garden’s property which I think is a nice idea.
