I have been a big fan of Hasbro and Playskool products since my daughter (who is now 26 years old) was a little girl and now that I am a grandmother, I look for both of these brands when I am shopping for toys for my 2 year old grand daughter. When you purchase Hasbro and Playskool products you know you are purchasing a quality-made item that will last many years. Even though this item is geared towards younger children I think it is great for our Back to School Bash because many older kids have younger siblings & those siblings need to be entertained once big sister or big brother go back to school.
Today I am reviewing for you the Tonka Chuck & Friends Race Along Chuck for all of you. Even though I am a grandmother to a little girl, she does enjoy playing with cars and trucks! The Tonka Chuck is made for ages 3 & up and he says/makes 50+ phrases & sounds. This one Tonka Chuck will play 6 fun-filled racing games with your child to keep them entertained for hours upon hours at a time. The Tonka Chuck comes with 4 C-sized batteries so he is ready to play with right out of the box. The 6 Racing Games that he plays are as follows: 1. Tag Me 2. Green Means Go 3. Circle Race 4. How Slow Can You Go 5. Follow The Leader 6. Red Light, Green Light.
To make Tonka Chuck go you simply push him or pull him and you can easily fill up his truck dump bed with blocks, crayons or whatever child wants to put back there and they can easily dump those items back out. As parents…we all know how kids love to do that! To hear him talk you simply push his cab lights and you can go through all 6 of the racing games he plays. What is super fun is hearing him say over 50+ things (including sounds) and the are all very clear…there is NO guessing what he said and to me…that speaks quality!

Our wee one had a ball playing with Tonka Chuck and on day one she sat on the floor playing with him for over 2+ hours! The following day…she was back to playing with him! Poor Tonka chuck had to haul around fashion dolls, blocks, her crayons, play food items and all kinds of other things but you know what? He didn’t get tired out…but she did! LOL
We absolutely love the Tonka Chuck! He is a wonderful quality-made toy that will keep your child busy for hours upon hours! He is super cute to look at and is way too much fun! We highly recommend this toy to you! He would make the perfect birthday gift or holiday gift too! This great toy is available Fall 2011 at major toy stores across the Nation.
