I have to admit when I have had a tough day and want to relax, I love enjoying a cocktail or two in the evening. But being on a perpetual diet, sometime I feel guilty for the extra calories. I was asked to review to a book and recipe guide call Skinny Cocktails and I jumped at the offer! YAY Right up my alley!

Delicious! I know I can spare a couple of hundred calories at the end of my day. This book is filled with 250 other great recipes just like these. It is written just for us gals that need to button our jeans tomorrow morning but still want to enjoy a drink with friends.
Skinny Cocktails is a small book that you can throw in your purse and take with you to the bar or a friends house. It has calorie and carb counts of all kinds of alcohols … now I know why my sister loves Captain Morgan Spiced Rum so much, hmmm… Anyway it is a great tool to help you choose a low cal or low carb beverage. I love this awesome book! I only wish it wasn’t printed in pink font. Although it is super cute, it is hard for my old eyes to read it quickly, but you young gals can whip right through this LOL
The authors, Ray and Jaclyn Foley are expert bartenders and publishers of Bartender magazine. Ray is also the founder of the Bartenders Foundation Inc. and the author of Bartending for Dummies.
