Kabongo’s Online Learning Games Encourages Reading in Kids

When my son was learning to read, the teacher recommended an online site where he could play learning games that taught reading and cognitive skills to help him learn. I don’t know how many hours he spent on that site playing games. He loved it. By 1st grade he was reading books for 3th graders and higher. By 3rd grade he was testing on Harry Potter books he had read completely through. Today at 15, he still is reading books and loving it.

Kabongo is a Literacy based site that encourages reading and critical thinking skills in preschool, kindergarten and school age children. They offer online learning games for kids that will get your child thinking critically which helps with reading.

GoGo Kabongo offers free online learning games as well as premium reading games for kids. They work on attention and focus, memory development, planning, comprehension and more skills they will use in reading as well as in other life skills. The characters they use in the games are fun and likeable and your kids will really identify with them.

The graphics on the games is amazing and the instructions are fun and easy for a child to remember. What I really like is that when you sign your child up you receive a progress report that shows the skills your child is learning and developing as they play the games. They also offer a complete parents section with articles, printables and additional activities you can use with your kids.

Have some fun with your child and come try out GoGo Kabongo. Its free to sign up and get your child playing and learning more each day.
