Our Review: The generous folks over at Umi sent us a pair of shoes for the wee one in the “Bluet” style in black. This is a maryjane styled shoe made of buttery soft leather and they feature an easy to use hook & loop closure so that our little ones can easily get their shoes on and off all by themselves. Stitched onto the shoes with pink stitching is an adorable butterfly pattern and our wee one loves butterflies so these shoes were perfect for her! I love the treads that Umi puts onto the bottoms of these shoes which helps to prevent slips and falls and I love how they have a wide toe box area so that our little one’s feet don’t get cramped up in the shoes. I love how they have that extra piece of leather up around the toe area which helps to hide any scuffs that your child might make when wearing them. The insoles are super padded and comfy and the wee one’s foot just sinks into the shoe when we put them on her.
Wee one has been wearing her new shoes almost constantly since receiving them. She actually calls them her “Princess Shoes” as she loves them a lot! We love that there are no shoe laces to come undone or to fumble with. The shoes can be worn with dresses, skirts, slacks, leggings, you name it…very versatile design to go with everything.
