Our Review: The soft-cover book has 412 pages and Chapter 1 is all about getting started in your new college life…from how to survive & thrive when in the minority, how to deal with homesickness and tells you about the U Chic essentials. Chapter 2 is about sharing space with others…like how to get along with others when sharing a dorm to dealing with messy roommates. Chapter 3 talks about picking the right major and how to deal with taking finals. Chapter 4 is about getting involved in various school activities and Chapter 5 talks about Tech etiquette for a Facebook Age. Chapter 6,7 and 8 deal with your love life, joining sororities and how to stay healthy & happy. Chapter 9, 10, 11 and 12 deal with how to stay away from the party scene (drinking, drugs & sex), how to deal with your money, the perks of being a college student and finally the book finishes up with what’s next after college life is over.

Since my 26 year old daughter is a part time college student I gave this book to her and then asked her about a few days later. She told me that the book has some great insight to college life, especially from a woman’s point of view. She said that she is learning a lot from reading this book and that it’s an easy read and she would recommend this book to other women who are attending college. She gives it a huge 2 thumbs up and told me that when she is done with it, her one college friend wants to read it next.

We would like to invite you to check out UniversityChic for valuable resources and additional information.
