Upgrading Our Home’s Address Plaque
In May of 2010 my husband and I purchased our second home which was built in the 1960’s and was previously owned by my great aunt and uncle. This is a large home that is done in a ranch style with a small business built on the side of it. We purchased the home and we have been remodeling it and updating it for the past year and a half. We don’t live in the home but we do rent it out to my great aunt…so we are basically landlords.
The past few months we have been working on the landscaping with both the front and back yards and just 2 weeks ago I finally got a new mailbox for the house. Now that most of the outdoor work is done I have been shopping around for residential address plaques and found a few that I like so I have been trying to narrow down my choices this past weekend. Right now I am really liking the look of bronze address plaques as I like the “old antique” look to them and I think those would look nice on the red brick beside the front door.
I haven’t been able to decide if I want just the house number on the address plaque or if I want to purchase custom address plaques for the house. Once I made my decision and purchase one I will have to update this post with my decision so that you all can see what I decided.
