The Pourty Potty A Great Child’s Training Potty

July 30, 2011 by Shelly

Pourty Potty Training Potty for KidsAre you looking for a new and easy to use training potty for your little ones? If so, I am going to introduce to you today a training potty called Pourty and this special little training potty is the “potty” that pours! Just recently the Pourty Potty won 3 fabulous awards so you know it has got to be good!

The Pourty Pottyis made in England and was invented by Jonnie and Lucy Rathbone who wanted a better way to train their children to use the potty. The Pourty Potty is made out of durable sturdy plastic that is light-weight and I love that I can simply put this into the car if we are traveling with no problems. Your child can sit comfortably on the Pourty Potty thanks to it’s unique contoured design. Once they have done their #1 or #2 business on the potty you simply pour the “poo and/or pee” out through the duct in the back of the potty. You then simply put some clean water in it to rinse it out and pour that then down the toilet. Easy peasy! The splash guard on the front (mainly for little boys) is higher on this potty than on most other potty’s which eliminates urine from splashing out when they are tinkling.

I got this Pourty Potty a couple of days ago and was anxious to give it a try. We received it in the fun purple color which happens to be the wee ones favorite color. Once I took it out of the box I showed the wee one how to sit on her new potty. We have been working on potty training so she was more than happy to hop on it for me and to read a book to me (our potty routine) LOL. After she was done urinating I simply got her off the potty and then grabbed the built-in handle on the front and walked the potty over to our toilet and dumped her urine out of the backside of the Pourty potty and into the toilet. I then ran some water into the potty to rinse it out and dumped it again. Easy Peasy and it was ready for her next use!

In addition to it’s easy use…this potty is comfortable for our little one’s to sit on as it has a wider base than others I have seen…so when wee one stands up there is no red ring around her bottom. In addition, this thing is STURDY but yet…light-weight so it can easy go with our kids when we go visiting other people, on vacation or if they go to daycare, etc. It can easy be transported from one area to another. I think this potty is fabulous for those who are taking long road trips, camping, etc. due to it’s size…it works better for those avenues too! So when you are thinking about a training potty…think about one that is comfortable, easy to use, light-weight and one that does a great job and all of that is answered with the fabulous Pourty Potty!!!

I really love this potty and so does the wee one so that is making our potty training job a lot easier. I highly recommend this product to you!

I would like to thank Pourty for sending us the potty chair to review for all of you. It is really a great product that is well-designed and I think they thought of everything!
