Thirst Quenching Shangri La Iced Teas

July 20, 2011 by Classystaff

Last month I was so thrilled to bring to you a company known for their wonderful Iced Teas known as Shangri-La.

Shangri La Iced Tea carries some truly delightful teas that have such wonderful flavors! Shangri La’s parent company has been in the tea business for over 150 years so I think its is safe to say they know tea! Located in the US for the past 20+ years, they have been an pioneer in the flavored iced tea business and a leader in organic and hot teas as well. They grow teas, process the leaves, and pack many of the teas in their own world class facilities. Their teas taste fresher because they are fresher.

The wonderful folks at Shangri La sent me more teas to sample for you and I am so impressed with their blends. I already told you about the amazing Mango and Green Tea in my first review. I want to tell you about the other three blends I was sent too; Organic Black Tea, Peachberry Decaf and Tropical Passion.

All three of these are mild and smooth. I accidentally boiled one when I was brewing it which on any commercial, normal tea would make it a bit bitter. Not these. Awesome flavors!

I make tea everyday as we don’t drink sodas in our home very often. So I am a bit picky when it comes to tea. The Black Tea is a traditional black tea taste and very enjoyable when you want a nice plain glass of tea with no added flavors, which I brew often. The Peachberry my hubby loves. Again, very mild flavor. A beautiful combination of berries and peaches. Very refreshing. The Tropical Passion has a bit of fruit flavor and a hint of floral essence with a black tea base. It was a really nice tea to enjoy too.

All of these teas from Shangri La have been excellent. I like that they are not overpowering in flavors. If you want to get a stronger flavor, you can always brew two filters. I also blend my teas together too. My favorite mix is Mango and Green Tea. I have converted many people with my “secret” blend LOL.

I hope that you come by Shangri La next time you are looking for iced teas. You will enjoy them as much as I do.
