My Review: Kathy sent me two pairs of gloves to review for all of you…a pair for myself and a pair for my husband. We have 11 large raspberry bushes in our backyard and I decided to put my new gloves on and go berry picking. As you know…raspberry bushes have tiny prickly’s on them so you do need to protect your hands while berry picking. I put my gloves on and was amazed at how perfectly they fit my hands, it was like wearing a second skin! The Ladies Gripping Gardening Gloves have a texturized surface on the palm and fingers which is super nice as you can grip a hold of vines, weeds and brush without it sliding around in your hand…making for a nice firm grip. The gripping gloves have a ribbed knit cuff so that as you bend and twist your wrist…they still feel comfortable and that ribbed cuff keeps debris and other gunk from going down into your gardening glove. I love how these gloves are not thick and stiff…very flexible so there is no break-in time at all.
My hubby received a pair of the men’s pig-skin Leather Palm Gloves to try out for all of you. My hubby does all of our heavy duty yard and garden work around here and he needed a great pair of gloves to do the work and he was really excited about receiving these. He put them on right away and headed into the back yard to work on clearing out some brush and bushes that he wanted to remove. The first thing he said was that the gloves fit him perfectly even with his big knuckles and they were super comfortable. He was able to clear out thorny brush without having any jaggers puncture him and he appreciated that because the previous week he had gotten cut up and had gotten poison. He also remarked that he loves the cuff on these gloves because it is flexible and allows him to move his wrists in any direction that he needed without feeling like they were constricting his movement. He has been raving for days now about his new gloves and absolutely LOVES them! These men’s leather palm gloves cost $12.75 and are worth every dime! He purchased a pair of gloves back in March that were well over $40 and he hated them…these are a bargain at that price and are top notch men’s gloves!
Overall Impression: Hubby and I are super impressed with the quality of these gloves and highly recommend them to you. We received our order quickly and everything was well packaged.
