Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Avalon Organics who sells a variety of organic skin care products, organic hair care products, organic bath & body products along with organic baby care products. This company has won numerous awards for their organic products and have been written about in several media publications.
My Review: Today I am reviewing the Avalon Organics Peppermint Strengthening Shampoo for all of you. This wonderful shampoo contains organic peppermint essential oil, babassu oil, organic aloe and various vitamins to strengthen elasticity of weak, brittle hair while smoothing your split ends and fly-aways for radiantly renewed bounce and length. You simply apply it to wet hair, massage it into a rich lather and then rinse it out. Once you are done you can follow up with the Avalon Organics Peppermint Conditioner if needed.
I decided to use this product to wash my hair during my morning showers as the peppermint is usually a good scent to get your “senses” awakened early in the morning and I was not disappointed! The shampoo works up into a very nice lather and you only need a little bit. As I massaged it into my scalp and all over my hair I could feel a slight tingling sensation and after a minute or two I simply rinsed it out. I liked how quickly I was able to get it out and it didn’t leave a slimy residue at all. After showering I first towel dried my hair and then blew it dry using no hair styling products because I wanted to see if I could see a difference in my hair and I can honestly say that I did. I don’t know if I had shampoo build-up or what…but my hair seemed silkier, smoother and I didn’t see any frizzes at all. Matter of fact, I didn’t need any hairspray either! Now I have short hair but it is very thick and I was really impressed with this shampoo and I loved the invigorating peppermint scent. I think this is a wonderful shampoo and I love that it is organic which means it’s good for your hair!
