Our Review: I have really short hair so I enlisted my 26 year old daughter’s help to review this item. She has very thick hair that goes halfway down her back so styling her hair often times is hard to do or at the very least…time consuming. We got the styling tool a few days ago and decided to play with it right away. We took it out of the box, read the instructions and plugged it in. She wanted Voluminous Curls so we look at the instructions and placed all three of the settings onto the medium dial. Within one minute it was hot and ready to go. I sectioned off her hair and started at the top and moved around to the sides and then finally around to the back. As I was styling her hair I realized how comfortable the Hollywood Styler felt in my hands…I will admit, it is a little weighty but it was comfortable in my grip.
To use this styler you simply section off some hair and place the ends into the clamp and then hold the iron at a vertical angle and rotate it while wrapping your hair tightly around the barrel. I left hair sit about 10 seconds in it and then released the hair with the clamp and unrolled it. I would say that it took me a good 15-20 minutes to curl her entire head…but like I said, she has really long and really thick hair! Now I will admit, I did smaller sections than normal as I know she likes the tight spiral curly look and I think we achieved that easily with this Hollywood Styler.
