My Review: I received the Mini Himalayan Salt Lamp for my product review but don’t let the word “mini” fool you because this salt lamp measures approximately 6″ tall. This salt lamp comes with an UL listed electrical cord with an easy to use on/off switch and the salt lamp itself is mounted onto a rosewood base. It is quite a substantial piece so “mini” is a little mis-leading. I would say it weighs about 4 1/2 to 5 lbs. in weight.
As soon as my package arrived I took it out of the box and just looked it over with a fine tooth comb and I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was and it wasn’t even plugged in yet! I immediately plugged it in beside my desk since I work from home and wanted to experience the calming and relaxing effects that a salt lamp has while I was working a few days ago. When evening arrived, I moved it over to our master bedroom and have it sitting on my nightstand and we have been using it at night as a nightlight and it has beautiful soft glow that comes from within it.
The owner of this store explained to me that salt lamps help to reduce stress, they are calming to humans, they help with positive energy and vibes, and they help with allergy relief. Trust me, I need all of that help!!! I have been enjoying the salt lamp for several days now and I must admit…I love it! I do find the light that it emits when turned on to be soft, soothing and relaxing. I suffer with allergies and mornings are really bad for me and I noticed that I have been less “stuffed up” when I get up in the mornings. Besides all of those great benefits…I think it’s a romantic nightlight and perfect for our master bedroom and I think if you have children…it would make a perfect nightlight for them too! I give it a huge 2 thumbs up!!!
