A few months ago we held a giveaway for the fabulous women’s dress company called Shabby Apple and today we are bringing to you a product review on one of Shabby Apple’s fantastic women’s dresses called the Helena.
The Helena woman’s dress comes in a gorgeous bubble gum pink color and is made out of a Jersey Knit fabrication consisting of 60% Polyester and 30% Rayon so it stretches and moves with you. It is hand wash and line dry. It has a ruched bodice all of the way around (front and back), cap sleeves and a floor length skirting that has a lettuce edge. The bodice is fitted but the skirting flows away from the body.
I was really excited to receive this dress for the review because I love wearing easy-care light-weight dresses during the summer months and we take several trips to the beach every year so I like a dress that is ‘cool’ and one that ‘flows’ around my lower body. I have a lot of body flaws so I love the fit of this dress as it covers many of my flaws! I love how stretchy the fabrication is so when I am wearing it, it moves with me. I can pick up my grand baby with ease and I can get down on the ground to play with her while wearing this dress. It can be dressed up for a summer party with some nice heeled sandals or it’s fabulous for the beach with a pair of flip flops.
Overall Impression: I absolutely love this dress! It is a little long on me with flat flip flops on but when I wear a little kitten heel sandal it’s the perfect length. (I am 5 ft. 6″ tall). I love how it doesn’t hug around my hips, thighs or legs. It’s a nice light-weight fabric so it’s perfect for spring and summer when you want to wear cooler clothing items. I highly recommend this dress and the Shabby Apple Company to you!
