Gorgeous April Cornell Table Linens
Today I would like to introduce you to the wonderful company called April Cornell who sells some the most beautiful clothing items, linen items and home decor items that I have ever seen! This company has been in the industry for the past 35 years and is owned/operated by April Cornell. April takes great pride in designing all of their items with the help of her small design team. They called Vermont home but they travel a lot to Europe and India to get design inspiration.

My Review: For my product review the generous folks over at April Cornell sent me their 54″ by 54″ breakfast cloth and a set of 4 cloth napkins in their beautiful Rosehip Paisley pattern which is a signature April Cornell design. First up…the breakfast cloth which is made out of 100% cotton and is machine wash/tumble dry on low. I took the breakfast cloth out of the package and unfolded it and just stood there staring at it for a few minutes…the design and colors is just beautiful!!! The background is in a light paisley print and on top of that is the rosehip floral print and it’s done in beautiful shades of blues and greens. The design reminds me of something I once saw in a French kitchen shop many years ago. I have a round breakfast table with a genuine granite top so I always protect my tabletop with a nice cloth and this one…is the prettiest one I have had in many years! I placed the square breakfast cloth on my table and WOW…what a fabulous way to spruce up that table! I usually use round tablecloths but now…I am going to use square ones as I think it adds interest to the table. I love that the colors are not bright and bold…I would say they are more muted tones which is the way I like them. The edges of the tablecloth are finished off just beautifully and everything about this breakfast cloth speaks QUALITY to me. This is not a discount store cheapo item…this is true high quality linens for your table that are beautiful to look at, functional in their use and totally affordable at only $44.00. I am absolutely IN LOVE with my new breakfast cloth!
I also received the matching set of 4 Rosehip Paisley cloth napkins! Each napkin measures 20″ square and is made of 100% cotton. Machine washable/tumble dry on low. These cloth napkins match the breakfast cloth perfectly and I love the 20″ square size as they look beautiful folded up on your table. We don’t care for napkin rings here so in my pics you will see them nicely folded under our flatware. Again, these are beautifully constructed and well-made just like the breakfast cloth. I think they would look fabulous used in a bread basket as a bread cloth or roll cloth. You can fold them flat (like I did) or fan them out and place in a napkin ring. The set of 4 Rosehip Paisley napkins sells for $29.00 and again…totally affordable!
Overall Impression: When my hubby came home from work the day I redid our tabletop the first thing out of his mouth was “Honey, I love what you did to our table, it’s beautiful! I hope you plan on trashing your old linens!” LOL Seriously though…I love them! They are beautiful, functional and when you place them on your table you know you have something “special” on your tabletop! I plan on keeping our table like this all year long so when you think of beautiful table linens, don’t just think of using them during the holidays! You deserve to have a beautiful table all year long!
