My Review: Barbara’s Bakery 2 bags of their Cheese Puffs in the Jalapeno flavor for me and my family to try out for all of you. The Cheese Puffs are made with real Jalapenos and Cheddar and Blue Cheeses. This is an all-natural snack food with no artificial flavors or additives. Serving size is 3/4 of a cup and there are 150 calories per serving.
I have never had Jalapeno Cheese Puffs before so I was really looking forward to giving them a try along with my husband when we sat down for our movie night. We opened the bag and got busy snacking! The first thing you notice with these is that they are “fry” shaped and the first thing you taste when you pop a few into your mouth is a corn taste because they are made from ground yellow corn. After your initial taste you can taste the Jalapeno and Onions…which is a nice spicy kick to them but not what I would call hot & mouth burning. It really is a nice combination of flavors. By the time our 2 1/2 hour movie was done..hubby and I had practically demolished the bag. They are different but really good! So if you are looking for a new snack to try out with a little bit of a spicy kick to it, I would like to recommend that you check out Barbara’s Jalapeno Cheese Puffs!
