Today I would like to introduce you to a fabulous company called Ella Umbrella that sells some of them prettiest umbrellas I have ever seen! Ella Umbrella is your one stop rain umbrellas shop and they carry over 100 different styles of umbrellas from all of the major umbrella brands. They have umbrellas for women, men and kid’s umbrellas!
When you shop at the Ella Umbrella store you can shop by brand, style, color, collection or by pattern and all of this makes your shopping for the perfect umbrella a lot easier! I love browsing all of the different types of umbrellas that they carry…like fashion umbrellas, mini umbrellas, stick umbrellas, travel umbrellas, golf umbrellas…etc! Trust me folks, I think this umbrella store has every type of umbrella you would ever need!
My Review: Chad over at Ella Umbrella sent me 2 special umbrellas to review for all of you. I was really excited about receiving these since the East Coast has been getting a lot of rain the past 2 1/2 months and I can always use a new umbrella.
First up…the Goggles Yellow Bubble Umbrella which is a super cool looking umbrella that sells for $32.00. This is a really fun looking umbrella but not only is it fun…it has some really unique features. The umbrella has a “goggle” shaped clear plastic window on the front so that you can see out of the umbrella easily. I love the “bubble” shape to it as it gives you great coverage during a heavy down pouring rain. The bright yellow is fun and I think having bright colored umbrellas allows others to see you when you are out and about in a heavy foggy type of rain. To kick up the fun appearance even more…the top of the umbrella has a “yellow submarine periscope” which is just too cute but…it’s functional because that periscope allows you to set your umbrella against a wall and it will stand up without falling over. I gave this umbrella a good testing on Saturday outdoors. I found that it was really easy to open and close and I love the great coverage you get with this one. I think it makes a fabulous sun umbrella or rain umbrella.
Second up…I received the Marimekko Ruusupuu Hook Umbrella that sells for $40.00. This umbrella is for the woman who loves stylish umbrellas. It has a hook style wooden handle, automatic open/close (super easy to use) and comes with a matching carrying case. I tested this umbrella out and boy oh boy…it was super easy to use thanks to the automatic open/close button on the handle. I love the chunky pink wooden hook style handle and I love the shape of this umbrella. You get nice coverage with it and we were actually able to fit 2 adults comfortably underneath it. I love the white, black and pink floral print as it just speaks spring and summer to me.
Overall Impression: These two umbrellas are fantastic! I plan on using the fun yellow Goggles umbrella during heavy downpours of rain and especially when we got to the beach as I hate blowing wet sand during storms while we are there and I feel this bubble style umbrella is perfect for that type of weather. I plan on using the Marimekko umbrella for our day to day spring and summer rain showers. Both of these umbrellas are easy to use and both give you great coverage when outdoors in a rain storm. I can’t pick a favorite out of the two since I think they are both awesome and I plan on using both as I explained above. I would highly recommend you check out Ella Umbrella as they have fabulous umbrellas and all of them are affordably priced!
