Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Flojos (pronounced flo-hos) based out of the great state of California. This company is one of the top sandal manufacturers in the world and specializes in beach, fashion and sport sandals for women, men and children. The company has been in business since 1979 when it first introduced the original criss-cross Flojos sandal. Since that time they have added additional styles and designs to their product line and the company continues to grow.
My Review: Flojos sent me a pair of their Pulse II summer sandals in the color black. The foot bed is made up of super soft & squishy memory foam that is contoured to naturally fit your foot. By that I mean…most flip flops have flat soles..these have a contoured sole. There is a heel cup so that your heel fits comfortably into the sandal and there are toe grips so that your toes have something to grip onto as you walk. All of these features help these sandals to stay on your feet (so that you don’t walk out of them). The straps are soft and flexible and not rigid and stiff like other flip flops. If I had to design a pair of flip flops these are all of the design elements I would want!
I got the flip flops a few days ago and ever since they arrived I have been wearing them. I love wearing them around the house and outdoors when I go out because they are so super comfortable!!! When I put them on and stand up…my feet just sink into that squishy soft memory foam and I love the heel cup which cradles my heel. I have been wearing these for hours each day since receiving them and I have not tripped or walked out of them once! The back heel (sole area) is about 1 1/2″ and the front is about 1″ and I like that there is plenty of cushion between the bottom of my feet and the hard sidewalk. I have not gotten any blisters between my toes while wearing these sandals and usually I do when I first get a new pair of flip flops.
Overall Impression: I love my new flip flops! They are comfortable and well-made! I would give them a 9 out of 10 stars and I deducted one star because they are just a tad too wide on me…I do like my sandals to fit a little snugger (width-wise) but other than that…fabulous pair of ladies summer sandals!
