Water Conservation Handheld Shower Head

June 18, 2011 by Shelly

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Conservation Warehouse. This wonderful company sells a variety of products to help all of us to conserve water in our homes and our businesses. When you shop the Conservation Warehouse store you will find a variety of sink faucets, water conserving shower heads, toilets and urinals and all of the accessories to go along with them. In addition, they sell energy conserving products like energy efficient light bulbs and wall plates. They also have a nice selection of outdoor products like hose sprayers, rain gauges and water brooms. We all need to do our part in helping to conserve water and you can do YOUR part by purchasing water conserving and energy conserving products for your home.

My Review: The Conservation Warehouse sent me 3 products to try out for all of you. First up, The Earth Massage Handheld Shower Head that sells for $28.50. This water conserving shower head features a 72″ swivel tangle-free hose and it will fit standard 1/2″ threaded shower arms. This handheld shower head looks fabulous and will help you to cut down your water bill by conserving water when you shower. I love handheld shower heads because they also make cleaning the tub and surrounding tile a lot easier on cleaning days.

I had my hubby install this shower head on Saturday morning and I was really thinking it would be hard to do and frankly…I could of done it myself! All you really do is unscrew your old shower head and screw on the new one! Yes folks…it is as simple as that! After he had it on…I made him clean the bathroom LOL! Then…I decided to hop into the shower and try it out. I was a little worried that the water pressure wouldn’t be great using this type of water conserving shower head but I was pleasantly surprised that I had the same exact water pressure (or at least it felt that way). I loved that the hose didn’t get twisted up and it felt really comfortable in my hand. After I was done the hubby got in to get his shower and after he got out…told me that he preferred this shower head over the old one. yeah!

I also received a Toilet Water Saver ~ Fill Cycle Diverter for hubby to install in our toilet tank. I personally had no clue what it was or what it does but hubby who is a licensed HVAC tech knew right away what to do with it. This handy dandy little gadget inexpensively saves up to 50% of the fill cycle water up to 1/2 gallon per flush. Wow! My hubby installed the little diverter which was really easy to do…he had it done within 2 minutes or so. I can’t wait to see our water bill next month as I am sure it will be going down. When flushing the toilet I noticed no difference meaning that everything flushed down the ‘hole’ the first time and nothing got clogged up so using less water to flush our toilets is perfectly fine with me! yeah!

The final item I am reviewing for all of you today is their fabulous Dish Squeegee. This handy-dandy squeegee helps to clean off dishes, cups, bowls and pans easier, faster and more efficient without the use of water! I was a little skeptical about this one but once I used it…I was amazed with it! It is flexible and fit comfortably into your hand. It is made out of silicone and is dishwasher safe. I used it to scrap dried up lasagna from one of my baking dishes and it worked fabulously! I love it! It also worked great when I was giving my stainless steel kitchen sink a good cleaning, it took off the food debris from the walls of the sink quickly and easily. I give it a HUGE 2 thumbs up!

All three of the products that Conservation Warehouse sent us to review for you are absolutely fabulous! They are high quality products that are simple to use and affordable for you to purchase. These products will pay for themselves in a very short amount of time because you are saving water and energy. We give this company and their products a big two thumbs up!
