Nature’s Path Organic Cereals and Snacks
Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Nature’s Path who makes and sells some of the most delicious organic food items I have ever tried! When you shop for Nature’s Path food items you will find cold cereals, hot cereals, toaster pastries, granola, bars & cookies, manna bread, waffles, baking mixes and baking ingredients. What is really important about this company is the fact that their products are USDA certified organic!
My Review: We received 4 items from Nature’s Path to try out for our product review. First up…The Crunchy Maple Sunrise Cereal which is an Organic & Gluten-Free cereal. We had our cereal with some low-fat milk and let me tell you, it was delicious! I wasn’t sure what to expect with a gluten-free cereal so I was pleasantly surprised at how good this cereal is! It has a warm maple taste to it…but not overly done with the maple. It gets it’s crunchy texture from the flakes, puffs and crispies and after 10 minutes sitting in my bowl…it never got soggy! yeah! The second item we tried out was their Organic Optimum Slim Cereal which is a delicious high fiber cereal with a touch of sweetened vanilla. It is low-fat and made from whole organic grain. My hubby is on a diet and he has digestive/bowel issues so this is the perfect cereal for him to try out. It only has 2 grams of fat per serving…so you gotta love that! He actually preferred this cereal over the first cereal but I like the first one better than this one. However, both are delicious and we do plan on buying both in the future.
The third item we tried out was the Organic Trail Mix Pumpkin-N-Spice Chewy Granola Bars which come 6 bars to a box. These bars are made from organic pumpkin seeds, sweet cinnamon, whole grain oats, flax and other good-for-you ingredients. I have never been a big granola bar eater but after tasting these granola bars, I have changed my opinion about them! I used to think granola bars were too dry and not very tasty but these…rock! They are crunchy but yet chewy and have a nice flavorful taste to them. These are great for breakfast-on-the-run or for afternoon snacks. Hubby and I have been enjoying the granola bars for several days now. The final product we tried out was the Organic Love Crunch and as soon as I saw the box, I knew I would love this one! It is a granola snack mix made with strawberries, dark chocolate chunks, raspberries, coconut and flax granola. It is a fabulous mix! I like putting this snack mix on top of my yogurt and low-fat ice cream as a topping and it rocks! Hubby likes just snacking on it plain and has been snacking on it mid-afternoon when he gets the munchies. I love how versatile this granola is! You can throw some in your breakfast cereal, oatmeal or on top of ice cream/yogurt! Excellent and I will admit, this was MY favorite product that we tried!
