My husband and I have been spending a lot of time this spring working on our front and back yards and getting them all prettied up for summer. We love to spend a lot of time outdoors and we often entertain guests in our backyard or at poolside.
We have been doing some online searches looking for some adirondack chairs because they come in some many fantastic colors and are so very comfortable to sit in. We haven’t decided yet if we want chairs made from mahogany, recycled plastic, teak wood or cedar but so far…we are leaning towards the recycle plastic as we want to be as eco-friendly as possible.
We were also looking at some picnic tables as we have a large backyard and often entertain large groups of people…both family and friends. We looked at oval shapes, rectangular shapes, octagon shapes and round shapes and are leaning toward an octagon shape. What shape do you like in regards to picnic tables?
We like the look of park benches sprinkled along the walkway of our flower garden and are thinking about replacing the 2 park benches that we already have as they are starting to look shabby. Our old benches don’t have backs on them so we are thinking about purchasing a classic park bench with a back on it. Again…we are leaning towards one of the recycle plastic ones so that we stay in-line with trying to be eco-friendly in our backyard design.
We have been browsing a lot of websites with site furnishings on them and looking at adirondack chairs, park benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, garden planters and barries and found a lot of nice selections over at Terra Bound Solutions.
The hardest part about landscaping and decorating a front and back yard is trying to make up your mind on what you want! With all of the nice selections and options we found…we made a list and are going to narrow it down to our preferred choices in a few days.
