Today I get to introduce all of you to the wonderful company called Saltwater Canvas which has been in business since 1991. When you visit Saltwater Canvas you will find canvas shower bags and beach bags in a variety of shapes, styles, sizes and colors. If you have a small family or a large family…one of the Saltwater Canvas bags would be perfect for you to take to the beach, lake, pond, river or to your neighborhood pool.
My Review: The generous folks over at Saltwater Canvas sent me 2 bags to try out and use for our product review. We have a large Olympic sized pool in our community that we love to visit during the summertime and our family heads to the Jersey beaches several times every year so I was really excited about receiving these bags. First up…the Saltwater Canvas shower bag which I received in a navy blue color with green trim. The bag measures 9″ tall by 6 1/4″ in diameter so it’s in a round shape with a green hanging strap. The front outside of the bag has 3 nice sized mesh pockets and inside along the back wall is another mesh pocket. I filled up my bag with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and shave gel bottles along with my mesh sponge and hung it in my shower. As I got my items in/out of the bag I realized how super easy it was and I love how much stuff this bag will hold. It is heavy duty so it doesn’t sag and you don’t have to worry about it ripping out…it can really hold a LOT of stuff! I love how quickly the bag dries after it gets wet so you don’t have to worry about mold, mildew or funky odors. (photo of my personal shower bag is to the right, in blue).
The other item I received was their fabulous Saltwater Canvas Whale Beach Bag (shown in top photo) which if you ask me is the “mother” of all beach bags! (trust me, I own about 10 beach bags and NONE of them are as nice as this one!). This slightly oval shaped bag measures 15″ by 15″ and has 2 green carrying straps. I love that this bag has a flat bottom (so it stands upright and doesn’t fall over)! The front outside of the bag has 2 nice-sized pockets, each side on the front has a deep pocket and the back outside also has 2 nice-sized pockets. Inside the bag you will find a zipper closure pocket where you can place your valuables and a removable key fob so you can hook your car keys, house keys, motel room keys, etc. onto it and they are safely stored inside the bag. You won’t have to worry about your keys falling out and getting lost in the sand. Since the bag is made of mesh, the sand will easily fall through the mesh holes and I love that this bag will dry quickly if it becomes wet. This bag will hold your family’s beach towels, sand toys, water toys, suntan lotions, snack foods, beverage bottles, swimsuits and a lot more! This bag is absolutely huge and it’s light-weight and easy to carry. I am really looking forward to packing it up for the beach when I leave for vacation later on in May.
Overall Impression: I am absolutely IN LOVE with both of the bags I received. I have been using my shower bag every day since it arrived and I love this huge Whale Beach Bag! These bags rock!!! Thank You Saltwater Canvas!
