Scarbrough Faire Rainbow Wishing Star Sun Catchers
Today I am introducing all of you to the wonderful company called Scarbrough Faire who sells some of the most fantastic and unique home decor items I have seen in a very long time. This company is currently celebrating their 12th year in business and sells a wide variety of products ranging from braided area rugs, braided chair pads, wallpaper borders, throw blankets, sun catchers, braided stair treads, bedding, window curtains and so much more! Their products range from country, primitive, nautical, lodge to contemporary modern decor. Another great thing about this store is that all of their items are affordably priced so people like you and I can purchase quality home decor goods and pay a fair price for them.
My Review: The generous folks over at Scarbrough Faire sent me a gorgeous Rainbow Wishing Star Sun Catcher to review for all of you! The sun catcher measures 6″ by 6″ in diameter so it’s a really nice size! The hanging cord is clear so you can’t even see that once you hang it up so it looks like it’s just floating in the air. This is a 3-dimensional sun catcher is handcrafted from 13 facets of clear beveled glass and then hand soldered together in the copper foil technique that was first developed by Tiffany. This piece is 100% made in the U.S.A. which is important to me and my family. We love supporting our country and our citizens by purchasing U.S.A. made goods. The sun catcher I received is all done in the clear beveled glass but you can also purchase it in Teal Green, Purple, Yellow, Cobalt Blue and Red.
As soon as it arrived (within minutes of it’s arrival) I had hubby hang it in the corner of our guest bedroom near one of our windows. I love to spend time in that room just reading or taking a time out break and we try to keep it very peaceful and serene in there for when we have guests staying with us. As the sun streamed through my window, you could see the “rainbow” colors dancing off the walls. Wow, this is just gorgeous!!! I wish my photos were better to capture it’s beauty so please check out the company’s photos as mine don’t do it any justice. The beveled glass panels are nice and thick so you know it’s a quality piece. My photo (to the right) really doesn’t do any justice to this gorgeous piece so please check out the company’s photo which is 100% better than mine! If you look at the wall behind my suncatcher you will see the sunlight dancing on my wall (look close!).

Overall Impression: I am in LOVE with my new Scarbrough Faire sun catcher! My order arrived quickly to my home and was well packaged. When I opened the box I just stood there in amazement at it’s beauty and once it was hung up…wow…what can I say? This sun catcher is GORGEOUS!!!
