My Review: The generous folks over at Organix sent me a bottle of their acai berry avocado shampoo and a bottle of their acai berry avocado conditioner to try out for this review. I have non-colored treated thick short hair but lately…my hair has lost its shine and has been looking dull from regular shampoo build-up. I was really excited to try out both of these products for all of you. I hopped into the shower and used about a quarter size amount of shampoo on my wet hair, massaging it into my scalp and making sure I hit my entire head/hair with it. I really loved how this shampoo lathered up and I loved the fragrance…a light berry scent. I rinsed it out and applied about a quarter size of the conditioner. As soon as I had the conditioner massaged into my hair I immediately felt all of the tangles and knots just disappear…my hair felt clean and smooth…even wet! yeah! The conditioner smelled as good as the shampoo! I got out and towel dried my hair and then brushed it out and blew it dry. After just one use I noticed that about 30-40% of my shine was back and my hair was very manageable with no frizzing at all. The next day when I got my shower I used both products again and let me tell you…after just two uses my hair looked 60-70% better! I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for a week now and I am very happy to report that this is the best that my hair has looked in years! I am absolutely in LOVE with this shampoo and conditioner!
After just 1 week of use I found that my hair is more manageable, not frizzy and is silky smooth with a little shine to it…just the way I love my hair to look. I know this product is “geared” towards women but let me tell you, my hubby used it and he also thinks the shampoo and conditioner is fantastic! I give it a HUGE 2-thumbs up!!!
