Table Topics Conversation Starter

Table Topics Conversation StartersRaising kids can be, well, interesting. As they grow older it is sometime hard to find topics of conversation that you can have together. This fun product I am going to tell you about today is a conversation starter that can help with that problem as well as help with parties and other social situations too.

A bit of history on the company – In December 2002, Cristy Clarke was on her way to a Christmas cocktail party, trying to think of interesting conversation starters because she couldn’t face another evening of small talk that went nowhere. Her experiment was a complete success, and by morning she was writing questions to test on her three daughters at their family dinner. The successful result is TableTopics, a collection of conversation starters meant to spark fun, interesting, and meaningful discussions around the dinner table, at parties, on dates, on road trips-wherever!

TableTopics, the conversation starter is releasing a new design cube called Mothers & Daughters. With 135 light and lively questions, this cube will remind mother and daughters that they share a lot more than a family resemblance. A few questions are just for Mom, or just for girls but most will inspire answers from both generations. Sample questions are:
When you brag about me what do you say?
What about me reminds you of yourself?
What do you remember about your first real date?

The Cube is a substantial item, a great size for playing at the table with the kids at dinnertime or anytime. The cards are a great size as well. This is not something that will break easily. With all of the different topics that TableTopics makes, I think it would be fun to have at parties especially if you feel you are not a great conversationalist. They have a ton of great ideas for you on the site like TopicsToGo, which is a smaller version of the TableTopics Cube. They also have Scatter cards for parties and events. Awesome idea! And they have wonderful Journals that you can get with ideas on how to journal more effectively and what to write in your journal.

I love them all!
