Our Review: I just had a recent hospital illness so using a self-tanner right now is out for me so I enlisted the help of my 26 yr. old daughter for this review. She is a natural redhead with fair skin so she always uses self-tanners on her skin and was more than happy to try out this product for all of us. This self-tanner moisturizes your skin which is a plus in my book when it comes to self-tanners. Everything she needed came well packaged in a kit for her use and she really appreciated that all of the instructions were easy to read and understand. She placed an old bed sheet down onto the bathroom floor to protect our tile and then started with the application on her back, then moved to her legs, front torso and then her arms. (she didn’t use it on her face but it is safe to use on your face too!).
She loves the easy to use tanning wand that is used for the application because it allows her to reach her back and legs with ease and the solution comes out of the tanning wand so easily. After about 10 minutes she was done and immediately applied moisturizer to her arms, feet and legs as instructed by the tip sheet that came with it. She commented to me when she was finished that she loved how the aerosol can didn’t clog up, leak or drip all over the place as she was applying it. She did receive 2 aerosol cans but used only one for the application. (she will use second one in 2 weeks she she reapplies to maintain it).
The SheerTan starter kit that she received retails for $39.99 so this is a very easy to use and affordable way for you to use a spray self-tanner at home…much more economical than visiting a tanning salon for sure! The 2-pack refill aerosol cans package costs $29.99 so maintaining your new glowing tan is cost effective too! The entire process was easy and took her about 10 minutes to complete which is awesome time for her first use. I am sure that next time it will be even faster. What is super cool about this system is that it is totally portable. You can toss it into a gym bag and do it at the gym, take it on vacation or use it at home like she did.

They have an entire section on their web site that includes tanning tips and explain the system more in depth than what we got in this review. You can order the starter kit and refill supplies directly from their web site and once you get started with this self-tanning system you should check out their Fresh Supply Club and get on auto-delivery so you always have a fresh supply and never without the product.
Overall Impression: My daughter is very happy with this product and it’s ease of use. She is looking forward to doing it again in 2 to 2 1/2 weeks. She said that this was one of the easiest self-tanners that she ever used and is really happy with her results. She has no orange color to her skin…just a light bronze glow that looks like she got a fresh sun-kissed glow to it. There was no streaking and really no mess with it.
