Info About DiscSox CD Pro Sleeves: These sleeves are like the movie sleeves but made specifically to hold CDs. They will hold original cover art, inserts and up to 2 CDs in each sleeve. If you stacked 33 CDs up it would take up approximately 13″ of space (in their original cases) but if you used 33 DiscSox CD Pro Sleeves and stacked up those same CDs it would only take up 3 1/2″ of space.
Our Review: My hubby owns over 3,000 movie DVDs, over 100 game discs and hundreds of CDs so storing all of his collection has been a struggle for us the past few years so I was really excited about checking these sleeves out for all of you. When they arrived we were expecting some type of heavy rigid plastic case but were pleasantly surprised that they are thin, lightweight and flexible sleeves.
At first we weren’t too sure about them as we didn’t receive any of the storage trays to put them in so we are only evaluating for you the sleeves. Hubby started with the CD Pro Sleeve first and took his cover art and disc out of a music CD case and slipped it inside. Literally, this took about 3 seconds to complete so transferring your discs to this system is quick and easy. For this sleeve it holds his CD cover art on the front, the music CD sits behind it in a protected slot and on the back of the sleeve he put the paper CD insert. Everything that was in the plastic jewel case now in this thin protective sleeve. The second sleeve we received was the HiDef Pro Sleeve and again…within 3-4 seconds he had his DVD cover art, disc and paper insert safely stored within the sleeve. These sleeves will hold up to 2 discs in each sleeve! The third sleeve we got was the regular DiscSox DVD sleeve which is slightly larger than the other two and takes only a few seconds to insert your materials inside it. These sleeves will also hold Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS2 game discs too! When you want to remove your discs for playing it is super simple and they slide out with easy…you are not struggling to slide them out and the plastic doesn’t stick or grip to them to make it difficult at all.
Once you transfer your discs to the DiscSox sleeves you need to invest into some of their storage trays so that you can store them properly and organize them. They sell several fabulous style of trays you can check out on their web site and we also recommend that you purchase their dividers so that you can organize your items even further.
