Getting My Family’s Laundry Clean with Celadon Road Laundry Detergent
Today with great pleasure I get to introduce you to the Direct Sales Company called Celadon Road which markets it’s “green” and healthy products exclusively through it’s network of independent consultants. I had never heard of Celadon Road until a few months ago when I was doing a web search online for eco-friendly laundry detergents and stumbled upon their web site and contacted them about a product review. If you have been reading our blog over the past year you will have read about some of my medical problems which include skin problems with frequent outbreaks of hives. With that said, I was excited to have found Celadon Road’s web site and all of their wonderful eco-friendly green products.
My Review: I was sent 2 products to review for all of you. First up…the Celadon Road Lime Laundry Detergent that comes in a 32 oz. canister that will wash 32/64 loads of laundry. This is an organic eco-friendly laundry detergent that is made here in the U.S.A. which buying and using USA made products is important to me and my family whenever possible.
Ingredients: Sodium Bromate, Soda Ash, Coconut Oil, Clay Powder, Vinegar and Essential Oil. I have a top loading washing machine so I only need 2 Tbsp. of the detergent per wash load and there is no need for fabric softeners. For the past week we have been using the Celadon Road Lime Laundry Detergent and we are very impressed with the results. I love that this detergent doesn’t over-sud if you know what I mean and I really love that it only takes 2 small Tbsp. of detergent to do a full load of household laundry. What is even more impressive is that our items are coming out clean with no residue, they smell fresh and there is no static cling. So far I haven’t had any issues with my sensitive skin flaring up with use of this detergent. Our whites are bright and our darks are not coming out faded and dull. I give this laundry detergent a big 2 thumbs up!
I also received an 8 oz. jar of Celadon Road’s Sweet Orange & Cardomom Blend Sugar Scrub to review. I was just in the hospital so sugar scrubs are out for me for the next few weeks so I enlisted my 26 yr. old daughter’s help on reviewing the sugar scrub. My daughter has fair sensitive skin but not as sensitive as mine nor does she have the health issues that I have so she was more than happy to test out this sugar scrub for me. This sugar scrub is also eco-friendly and made with organic ingredients that you can pronounce like Organic Raw Turbinado Sugar and Lavandin. When you look at the sugar scrub in the jar it looks like something you whipped up in your own kitchen and I like that about it and so did she.
Anyway, I gave her the jar and 16 days later she reported back to me on her results. During week one she used it twice in the shower and told me that it did a fabulous job at sloughing off the dead skin that was on the bottom of her feet, her knees and on the back of her elbows and that it was non-irritating to her skin and smelled good. She said that after each application she felt that she had a treatment at a very expensive spa and couldn’t believe she did this herself in the privacy of her own home. She said that after 2 uses she felt that her skin was improved by at least 75% so on week 2 and week 3 she decided to only use it once per each of those weeks. She said that a little bit goes a long way and she didn’t feel greasy or oily while or after using it. She informed me that she has 2-3 uses still left in her jar and LOVES this sugar scrub! Matter of fact…her birthday is in June and she asked me to buy her another jar for her Birthday so I guess you could classify that as she loves this product!
