My Review: Our wee one came over for a play date with Nanny & Pappy a few days ago and during our afternoon quiet time we decided to all sit down and watch the new Thomas the Tank Engine ~ Pop Goes Thomas DVD that I received for our review. I wasn’t too sure if our wee one would enjoy this video as she is “female” and I thought that Thomas appealed to boys…wow, I was wrong!!! Our wee one new who Thomas was as soon as he came on the TV. Matter of fact, she calls him “om” (without the T). While we ate our snacks we watched the video with wee one and I must say, she totally loved it! The animation graphics are suburb in this video and I loved the storyline (see synopsis). The wee one was totally glued to the TV as this video was on, matter of fact, I got up to use the restroom and she didn’t even realize that Nanny was gone! She was really into the engine named Emily. I enjoyed the entire thing and so did my husband! (he enjoy it almost as much as wee one). On a rating system of 1 through 10 stairs with 10 being the best, we would give this DVD for preschooler’s a rating of 8.5. Adults and children will enjoy watching it and it would make a great addition to your young child’s video library.
