The Review: I was excited to get a plum Skooba Skin to review for you today. With my businesses, yes that is plural, that I do at home, it is critical at times for me to be connected, if the family is going somewhere. My laptop has been thrown in tote bags and in suitcases since I never had proper protection for it prior. I always worried about it getting damaged.
When I got the skin I was so thrilled. The color is fabulous and it is in a microsuede fabric. So pretty! I have a 15″ laptop and the skin fit it perfectly. Snug but not too tight that I couldn’t get it out easily again. This design is great in that it has a flap that can cover your laptop but when you pull it up, it is actually handles to carry the case with. I loved that there is enough room to put my cord right on top and then it velcros shut at the handle. Too Cute!! This is great for just grabbing it and going. And what is awesome is that it is sleek enough that I can also put in into a larger laptop case when I need to carry more items or I have a lot to carry and want to sling it over my shoulder. All I have to do is tuck the handles back inside and it converts to a sleeve again. Love it! The Skooba Skin is also a “Checkpoint-friendly” design so it lets you put the Skin through airport screening without removing your laptop. That is a nice feature!
Overall this is a great product. I love the versility of the sleeve in that you can use it different ways and that you can use it within a laptop case too. This is prefect for protecting my computer and easy enough for me to use regularly without getting frustrated. And the color selection is fabulous! I had a super hard time deciding. I love the tangerine one too!
