Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Country Gourmet Home which has been in business since 1996. Since that time, Country Gourmet Home has been creating and selling gourmet food mixes that taste delicious and are easy to prepare. In addition, Country Gourmet Home is a Direct Sales Company and offers a home business opportunity to others who want to make extra money by selling their products.
When you shop their online store you will find a variety of pancake mixes, muffin mixes, scone mixes, basic baking mixes, frosting & topping mixes, dip mixes, premium dip mixes, quick bread mixes, soda & beer bread mixes, soup mixes, sugar free mixes, seasoning mixes, popcorn seasoning mixes, lemonade mixes, cookie mixes, dessert mixes, cheesecake and cheese ball mixes and cupcake mixes. In addition, You will find prepared gourmet food goodies too…like jams, jellies, fruit syrups and fruit butters. Some of their speciality products include meal and side dish mixes, sauces and smoothie mixes. Country Gourmet Home has something for everyone and everyone’s individual taste buds.
My Review: I was sent 2 packages of gourmet mixes to review for all of you. First up…I was sent a package of their gourmet Citrus Carrot Quick Bread Mix that sells for $7.95. With this particular mix…the only thing you need to add is your 2 eggs and 1 cup of milk…everything else is included in the mix! I got busy making this quick bread last Saturday morning and found it easy to make…it took me approximately 5 minutes to mix up and then I poured the batter into my loaf pan and baked it at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. (package states 25-30 but it took 40 minutes for me). Once it was done we left it cool and made the Cinnamon Whip Cream Topping (recipe is on the package) and refrigerated that until we were ready to have a piece of bread. Later that day when my company arrived I served them Citrus Carrot Bread with a dollop of Cinnamon Whip Cream on top. I served it to 5 adult guests and everyone raved at how moist and delicious this bread was. It was absolutely fabulous and my guests devoured the entire loaf in about an hour!
The second item I was sent to try out for all of you was the Country Gourmet Home Creamy Cajun Dip mix. This particular mix sells for $3.50 each or 3 for $10.00 on their site. This was super easy to mix up…you just add 1 cup of mayonnaise and 1 cup of sour cream to the mix and blend. I also served this dip to my guests with some potato chips. This mix can also be used as a spicy sauce for sandwiches or as a baked potato topper. This dip was delicious and had a very nice spicy kick to it without being too spicy. In other words…you weren’t choking down water because it was too spicy…I would say it has a ‘mild’ spicy flavor. My guests ate it all!
Overall Impression: Both products were super easy to prepare and they were quick to make. I liked that I only had to add the wet ingredients. All of my dinner guests enjoyed these products and thought everything tasted great! I highly recommend that you check out Country Gourmet Home for all of the delicious easy to prepare products that they sell.
