I know that all parents by now have heard of the silicone silly bandz that the kids love to wear in bulk. This business I am going to tell you about has taken the silly band craze to a new level. Charming Xcess has created charms, tags and beads that attach to the silicone silly bandz and enhance the experience that the kids can have with their bandz.
Creator Peter Gantner bounced the idea of the beads and charms off of his three kids before marketing the products. They loved the idea of displaying words and sayings on their wrist bands and with their excitement, the business grew.
The Review
Peter sent me several of the silly Band Charmz and two packs of the Band Beadz for me to check out for you. My niece, who is 10, loves her wrist bands so I know that she would very excited to get a hold of these. The Band Charmz come in packages of two that are attached to a silly band. Each silly band is in a cute shape like a Sun or a Tree or in words like BFF, Love or a Peace Symbol. These are too cute! They stretch out but retain their shapes when taken off.
The Band Beadz comes in bags of 100 different letters and symbols. They have a tiny slit in them so you stretch the wrist band out and slide the bead on. The bead doesn’t come off at all. It is a great idea and there are plenty of letters that they kids can use to make words or sentences.
My niece had a blast with these. She first made her name, then she pulled it off and put on her favorite singers name and then a boys name and so on and so on. She then called her friend over and together they had fun swapping bracelets and creating sayings and names. These bandz were a big hit with her! My camera is not good enough to get close ups of these cute bands she created. Sorry, but she sure had fun and is wearing them all at once. LOL
