Today I would like to introduce you to the chocolate company called Asher’s based out of my home state of Pennsylvania. This wonderful chocolate company has been in business since 1892 and is the oldest family-owned and operated candy making company in the United States. Asher’s success is due to the family’s reputation for making quality candy with the freshest and purest ingredients available.
When you visit the Asher’s company’s web site you will find a lot of chocolate candy ranging from gift boxed chocolate sets and their single serving sets. You will find Easter Candy, Sugar-Free Easter Candy, Irish Potatoes, Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, Assorted Chocolates in Gift Boxes, Chocolate Pretzels, Chocolate Grahams, A Variety of Fudge, Gift Baskets, Chocolate Covered Potato Chips, Chocolate Covered Sandwich Cookies and so much more!
My Review: I received a box of the Asher’s Assorted Petite Eggs (Easter Chocolates) for my product review. I received 12 eggs, 3 of each of the 4 flavors: Peanut Butter, Buttercream, Marshmallow and Coconut. These are pure milk chocolate goodness!!! I love the size on these eggs which makes them perfect for snacking. My chocolates arrived super fresh, matter of fact…the expiration date on the box is next February 2012…that is how fresh these eggs are! We love milk chocolate Easter Eggs so the family immediately dived into my gift box of eggs. The chocolate they use is just perfect…not too sweet and it has a wonderful chocolate taste. The fillings in these eggs is rich and creamy and just perfect! My favorite was the Buttercream, Hubby went after the Coconut, My daughter went after the Marshmallow and we left my mom have the Peanut Butter. All were equally delicious! These little chocolate eggs are perfect for Easter Baskets or if you are hosting an Easter get-together, place them out on a nice little tray and let your guests enjoy them! >
Overall Impression: My family enjoyed the Asher’s Assorted Petite Eggs and we highly recommend them! If you want affordable, fresh and delicious chocolate candy, you have got to head on over to Asher’s web site store and check out their large selection. This box of chocolates that I reviewed only costs $8.95 per box! Wow…what a deal!
