Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Me & Goji where you can create and purchase custom-blended artisan cereal. This wonderful company is owned and operated by 2 great friends named Adam & Alexander who met each other while in college. The two men combined their passion for healthy and great tasting food into a business by coming up with the Me & Goji cereal.
When you visit the Me & Goji web site store you can create your own custom blend cereal or purchase one of their pre-made blends. You start by selecting the base for your cereal like Goji oats, samurai wheat, golden granola, healthy hoops, etc. Once you select your base you move on to enhancing your base with other things (if you want them) such as barley flakes, ground cinnamon, oat bran, corn flakes, quinoa flakes, shredded wheat, etc. With step 2 (if desired) you can choose to add in some dried fruits like bananas, apples, cherries, cranberries, etc. In addition, you can also decide if you want to add in any nuts or seeds. With step 3 you will decided if you want a customized label and place your order. It really is that simple to create your own healthy custom blend cereal!
My Review: Me & Goji sent me a capsule of their premade blend of artisan cereal called the San Marino Sunrise. This happens to be Alexander’s favorite! This blend starts out with the artisinal blend (base) and added in is the golden granola, corn flakes, dried banana, dried apple, dried strawberry, pecans and pumpkin seeds. This blend costs $13.99 for a 21 ounce container.
Hubby has been wanting to try Me & Goji cereal since his one secretary raves about it so we finally had our chance. We use 2% milk here so we measured out our 3/4 cup serving of Me & Goji cereal and poured in our milk. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and crunchy this cereal was. We are not huge fans of soggy cereal so this blend was just perfect for us. We loved the variety of dried fruits in this cereal which made it taste delicious. To be honest…this is the BEST tasting cereal we have ever had! Just on the first morning…hubby had to go back and have a second bowl! I think this blend also makes a great dried cereal snack blend too! Instead of giving the kids chips and other unhealthy snacks, let them snack on dried Me & Goji cereal!
Overall Impression: This Me & Goji cereal is a HUGE hit in our house! We absolutely love it and look forward to trying other premade blends and custom blending some cereal ourselves. I highly recommend that you check out the Me & Goji cereal line and I assure you…you won’t be disappointed! We give this company and it’s cereal products a big 10 stars out of 10 stars!
