Gorton’s Fish and Seafood for Busy Weeknight Dinners

I absolutely love to cook and bake and it’s one of my favorite things to do for my family! With that said, I like to make delicious tasting dishes that don’t take hours to prepare and I want them to include every day ingredients. I was recently given the opportunity to do a product review for the Gorton’s company and I jumped at the chance! Here at our home…we love fish and seafood and at least 2 of our meals every week contain fish or seafood as the main ingredient.

Here is some information that you need to know! The American Heart Association and the Food & Drug Administration recommend consuming at least two servings of seafood a week. Gorton’s Grilled Tilapia, Grilled Salmon, Grilled Shrimp and All Natural Grilled Fillets< naturally contain Omega 3’s and are authentically flame-grilled and expertly seasoned for an irresistible taste. They are an excellent source of protein with 80-130 calories per serving.

Gorton’s sent me 3 free product coupons so that I could go out and get three items to review. I picked up the Gorton’s Grilled Salmon Fillets, Classic Grilled Shrimp and their Grilled Tilapia.

Gorton's Fish Taco Recipe

First up…We made the Gorton’s Grilled Salmon Wrap with Fat-Free Tzatziki Sauce. You can grab the recipe –> HERE. What I loved about this dish was the fact that I made the complete dinner by using the microwave and dinner was on the table in less than 30 minutes from start to finish! It was easy to prepare and the end product aka dinner was absolutely delicious! We polished it off in quick fashion and had NO left-overs!

Second up…We made the Gorton’s Classic Grilled Shrimp along with some baked potatoes and peas in butter sauce. Again, I used the microwave to make the entire meal and it was done and on the table in less than 30 minutes. This is perfect for weeknight dinners when you don’t have an hour or the energy to prepare dinner. The shrimp had a wonderful authentic grilled taste to it. They were moist and juicy and not all dried up.

We haven’t used the Grilled Tilapia yet since we have been hunkered down with snow and ice storms the past week but we plan on having that this weekend! I am sure it will be just as delicious as the other two products we tried!

Overall Impression: We love Gorton’s! I love that their frozen fish and seafood is easy to use, their recipes are quick and easy and we will certainly be purchasing Gorton’s when we buy our groceries!
