My Review: I was sent a Skoy reusable cloth for my product review. Those who know me will tell you that I am a clean neat freak and I have a passion for purchasing eco-friendly quality cleaning products. The Skoy cloth is made of 100% biodegradable natural cotton & wood-based cellulose pulp. It is chlorine free and any prints on the cloth’s is made with water-based inks. The Skoy cloth is durable and will last for many months and using just one Skoy cloth in place of one roll of paper towels is equivalent to using 15 rolls of paper towels. Wow…what a money saver that is! The SKOY cloth has an absorption factor of 15x its own weight.
I decided to get busy with my new Skoy cloth and the first thing I tackled was our ceiling fans. Cleaning ceiling fans on a regular basis in an important household chore that is often overlooked. Our ceiling fans get dusty and dirty all of the time so I like to give them a good cleaning once a month and with 4 ceiling fans in our home…this can be a time consuming task. In the past when I have cleaned them I have always had an issue with dripping water or dripping cleaners dropping below so I wanted to put the Skoy cloth to use on our fans.
I dampened the cloth and got up on my step stool and got busy. Not one ounce of water dripped down…not one! The Skoy cloth removed all of the cob webs, dust, debris and other gunk that accumulates on the glass globes and fan blades quickly and easily and did so without any type of chemicals on my cloth. As you can see from my photos, a lot of dirt came off those blades! I then cleaned my Skoy cloth under running water and all of that grime came off. You can clean your Skoy cloth’s in your washing machine or even your dishwasher…how cool is that? cool! I then used my Skoy cloth to clean my bathroom mirrors and my faucets…loved that there are no streaks left behind and they easily took the toothpaste off the faucet. yeah!!!!
Overall Impression: I love how flexible, thin and absorbent the Skoy cloth is! It is easy to wring out, clean and more importantly it does a great job at the cleaning tasks I put it through. I give this product a huge 2 thumbs up!
