Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Champion. For those of you who have never heard of Champion before this particular company sells high quality Men’s, Women and Children’s sports apparel. What I love about Champion is that their items are always extremely well-made, comfortable and affordable. For many years now my family has enjoyed various sports apparel made by Champion but this is my first time trying out their fabulous sports bras.
When you visit the Champion online web site store you will find shorts, tops, t-shirts, pants, sweats, jackets and sports bras. You will find their apparel in men’s, women’s, children’s and in plus sizes.
My Review: The generous folks over at Champion sent me 6 beautiful sport bras for my product review. I am going to get a little personal here…I have had over 40 surgeries and a lot of them have been on my upper chest for a chronic medical problem that I suffer from. Over the years, those incisions have healed terribly and wearing bras can be a very uncomfortable thing for me. In addition, I try to stay as active as I can by participating in yoga, swimming, hiking and walking so I was on the hunt for a good sports bra and then Champion came into my life.
I received 4 medium support sport bras and 2 high support bras to try out. The bras are made out of a great fabric blend consisting of polyester, spandex and nylon. They are machine wash and tumble dry low…easy care which I like! The sports bras have T backs which I really love because I can wear them under tank tops and not have any straps showing. These are heavy duty sports bra…heck, you could wear them as exercise tops or swim tops because they are so well made and fully lined. The bottom edge of each bra has a 1 1/4″ thick elastic band which keeps them in place and they do not ride up while you are working out. The ones I have been wearing have not budged at all and are super comfortable. There are no under wires to dig into you and because of the way they are constructed you get wonderful support. Your breasts do not spill out and they are not squished into the bra…super comfortable, even if you don’t work out, these bras could be used as your every day comfy bra. These bras have flat lock seams for comfort so they just glide on your skin and no seams to irritate your skin with.
They are stretchy but supportive so they move when you move and they keep your “girls” comfortably in place. They have a back mesh panel to them to allow breathability and the lining helps to wick away sweat and moisture so that you keep dry. The colors on these bras that I am reviewing are bright and vivid…love them! I plan on wearing them with my bike shorts and work out shorts during the spring and summer when I go hiking and walking. The 2 high support bras have a keyhole back which allows even more breathability but are basically constructed just like the medium support but with more support for your “girls”. I have washed my new bras a few times now and I can attest that the colors do NOT fade, the fabric does not bunch up or pill up…they come out of the washer & dryer as perfectly as they went in on day one.
Overall Impression: Wow…I have owned Champion sweatshirts and leisure pants for many years but never tried out any of their bras. I am now a HUGE and I mean HUGE fan of Champion’s Sport Bras! These bras are the best thing since…well…since they invented bras! LOL They are well made, beautiful colors & prints, wash/dry like a dream, great comfortable support and….they are all affordable!
