The Family Version of New Year’s Eve Celebrating

The Family Version of New Year’s Eve Celebrating
Contribution by Darren Saunders

As I have gotten older and started a family of my own, my New Year’s Eve outings are a little different than what they use to be. Before it was hitting as many clubs and parties as I could to get in the maximum amount of fun. This year, we will be spending our New Year’s Eve together as a family.

We are planning a trip to a family event that has plenty of fun activities for the adults and kids. There will be music and dancing for those who like that kind of thing and plenty of quieter family fun activities that include board games, video games and movies. The kids will have a blast at the mini-arcade.

There is always plenty of food that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Of course, we know the kids have some of their favorites, so we always pack a small bag of goodies that we know the kids will enjoy. Many of the activities are held outside so we include plenty of warm clothes and a couple of blankets for the midnight fireworks show. As we prepare to head out for a late evening, we set our home alarm system from TotalAlarmSystems.com to keep our valuable safe while we are away.
